heavy is the rain that beats on our umbrella,

we shared its weight as we braved it far. .

each tap, resounds with the drumming of our hearts,

each tap, reminds me that we’ll never part. .

even in days likes this,

of days dark, cold and ominous. .

I’ll hold you close, never letting go,

that even our shadows show. .

reflected on water,

is a love that’ll never waver…
